Society1 is an independent coworking space in the heart of Preston city centre
Society1 was created by Brendan, Catarina and Chris – a family team with a strong vision to foster a friendly and supportive community. The building was Catarina and Chris’s family restaurant before the team converted it into the creative and inspiring space it is today. Our inviting and welcoming space is situated on Cross Street, off Winckley Square, in the centre of Preston. Since opening, Society1 has become a firm favourite as a friendly, comfortable and professional place to work.

We are celebrating European Coworking Day 2025 with a day full of coworking connections. We are hosting an Open Day tied in with a Society1 Breakfast Social where you will have the opportunity to experience working in our lovely space for the day and connect with others. Our Open Day is free to attend but please register via the event page.

About Society1:
Society1 is an independent coworking space located in Preston City Centre. We offer hotdesking, dedicated desk space, meeting room rental, virtual offices, and events. When you arrive for an event at Society1 ring the buzzer near the front door to gain access then report to reception to get checked in.
Getting there:
Society1 is located on Cross Street, just off Winckley Square (PR1 3LT). It is easily accessible by bus and train.
If you need to drive, public parking is available at Fishergate Shopping Centre or Avenham Public Car Park (closes at 8pm)
