Tribe Porty is a place that makes good things happen. We are a community coworking and creative events space based in Edinburgh. To be more precise, we are based in the community of Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside. We are a collection of social entrepreneurs, freelancers, charities, SMEs and enterprises. From photographers to translators, graphic designers to environmental consultants, we have over 140 members and provide office, studios, permanent desk and hot desking. Tribe is big on building community and believes that a nurturing environment which sparks creativity and collaboration is good for business, individuals and communities.

To celebrate ten years of Tribe Porty and European Coworking Day we are offering free hot-desking on Wednesday 14th May 2025.

Home to over 145 members, we support a diverse community of social entrepreneurs, freelancers, charities, SMEs, and enterprises. From photographers and graphic designers to environmental consultants and translators. We also engage with our wider community through Tribe Talks, community events and workshops.

At Tribe, we believe a supportive environment that sparks creativity and collaboration benefits businesses, individuals, and the wider community. Alongside our coworking spaces, you’ll find like-minded organizations, including The Edinburgh Tool Library, Velow Bikeworks, Portobello Natural Health, Sodak, and The Pilates Studio Edinburgh.

For us, coworking is about more than a desk and a chair; it’s about connecting people. Personal and professional growth often go hand in hand in coworking spaces, where communities of like-minded individuals come together. When done right, coworking not only fosters collaboration but can also have a profound impact on health and wellbeing.
